Local Places of Interest
The
Fife Coastal Tourist Route offers splendid attractions within each village
en-route while St Andrews with its championship golf course is within
30 minutes drive. Knockhill racing circuit, Crail
Pottery, The British Golf Museum and The Scottish Deer Centre are
some of the local attractions within 20 minutes of Ladywell House. For
the more adventurous Edinburgh, Glasgow, Balmoral ,
Braemar, Glamis Castle ,
Blair Atholl and Pitlochry are all within an hours drive.
For
the golfers there are upwards of 100 golf courses within a 50 mile radius.
Falkland has a 9 hole golf course and Ladybank and St
Andrews are 10 and 20 miles away respectively.
There are pleasant walks around the village and the Fife Coastal Path
is easily accessible. For the hill walkers the Lomond Hills are right
on the doorstep and those of you who prefer to cycle there are 300 miles
of sign posted cycle paths to suit all abilities.
